Myvi`s rear seats can either accommodate three adults in comfort or, through th 60:40 split/fold-flat system, combine bulky luggage and passengers with ease.
The unique 60:40 split/fold flat system operates by the base moving forward and down, thus allowing the rear seat backrest to lie flat on top to create a completely flat floor, converting 225 litres of load space into 630 litres.
With overall length and width of 3720mm and 1665 mm respectively.Myvi is highly maneuverable for city driving,yet spasious enough to feel swift and secure on motorways. A turning circle of just 4.7m means that Myvi can nip into tight parking spaces with minimal effort.
At the Wheel:
Driving the Myvi is comfortable and effortless,due to its light, smooth controls, tilt adjustable steering wheel, fully adjustable driver`s seat & clear and concise dashboard display.
An integral RDS Radio/CD player is mounted conveniently in the centre console, along with the climate control & air conditioning dials, also within easy reach.
Performance:
Myvi is powered by a latest the generation 1298cc double over head camshaft engine derived from the Daihatsu Sirion and the Toyota Yaris. It has four valves per cylinder and variable valve timing (DVVT).
The K3-VE 4 cylinder unit provides lively performance, producing a top speed 06 106mph (on the Sxi).
The comfortable ride and sure-footed handling are controlled by MacPherson front struts and a rear torsion beam with coil spring. Braking performance is assured by a servo-assisted/ ventilated front disc/rear drum system backed up by slectronic ABS/EBD.
Safety:
Safety is a major consideration in the design of all Perodua vehicles and Myvi is no exception, featuring a newly developed body structure that absorbs impact more effectively from the front, rear and sides to protect occupants.
The latest head impact protection technology and side impact protection beams are built into the vehicle structure. Occupant safety is further ensured by the fitment of driver and passenger airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners to reduce whiplash injury.
